We reported a couple of days ago that the Islanders are interested in Alex DeBrincat. Now, it's been suggested that they have a backup plan in case DeBrinat ends up somewhere else.

According to a reporter, Jake DeBrusk could join the Islanders if DeBrincat doesn't.
