The Toronto Maple Leafs have concentrated on fortifying their defense this offseason, and a trade scenario involving Adam Larsson from the Seattle Kraken has many fans curious, thanks to a user-generated proposal on PuckPedia's PuckGM tool.

A proposed trade on PuckPedia's PuckGM platform suggests the Maple Leafs acquire Adam Larsson from the Seattle Kraken in exchange for Timothy Liljegren, David Kampf, and Florida's 2025 second-round pick.
Maple Leafs get:
Adam Larsson
Kraken get:
Timothy Liljegren
David Kampf
2025 second-round pick (Florida's)
Larsson has played 245 games with the Kraken, scoring 20 goals across those games, with 56 assists and a total of 76 points.
This deal offers Toronto an opportunity to upgrade their defensive line by bringing in Larsson, a seasoned defenseman who has more than proven his worth in Seattle.
Larsson, drafted fourth overall in the 2011 NHL draft, has become a reliable player on the Kraken's blue line.

With Seattle possibly not in the running for a Stanley Cup this season, trading Larsson could make sense as they honestly don't really need him all that much if they're not planning on shooting for the cup.
Larsson's addition to the Maple Leafs would likely see him slot in as the second-line right-shot defenseman, adding both skill and physicality to Toronto's defense, making them a true force to be reckoned with.
Liljegren has not been stellar with the Leafs so far, really just being average all around, but maybe pairing him with a few other key players on the Kraken will allow him to flourish and show his true potential.
Additionally, Seattle would receive a second-round pick to bolster their prospect pool and David Kampf, who could contribute to the health of the Kraken's lineup and defense.
It's pretty obvious that the Maple Leafs have been trying to boost their denfensive line this season, and a player like Larson could be just what they need to give them that defensive edge they're looking for.
