A new trade proposal on PuckPedia shows the Leafs acquiring Anaheim Ducks star Frank Vatrano in exchange for Nick Robertson and David Kampf.

Frank Vatrano has seen his fair share of NHL teams in his career. He was signed by the Ducks to a three-year nearly $12 million contract after he put up 32 points in 72 games during the 2021-22 season where he split time between the Florida Panthers and New York Rangers.
It appears that Frank Vatrano is now involved in trade rumors, leading many Maple Leafs fans to submit ideas on PuckPedia for the star forward. One trade proposal that has gained a lot of traction is that of Nick Robertson, who has requested a trade, and David Kampf sent to Anaheim for Frank Vartrano, who would have to be half-retained.

David Kampf was able to put up 9 goals and 19 points in 78 games with the Leafs last season, whereas Nick Robertson was more productive scoring 14 goals and 27 points in 56 games.
Frank Vatrano is coming off a career-year with the Ducks, as he scored an impressive 37 goals and 60 total points, playing in all 82 games for his team. It is likely going to be hard to sway Anaheim to want to move him, however Nick Robertson has the potential to be just as good, if not better, and the icing on the cake would be throwing David Kampf in the mix too.
