After the Florida Panthers clinched the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history, three trades with conditional terms based on the championship outcome were finalized.

This was a feat they couldn't have achieved without some strategic trade deadline moves by GM and now Stanley Cup champion Bill Zitto aided by assistant and former Panthers goaltender and now champion, Roberto Luongo.

Among these acquisitions were Vladimir Tarasenko and 17 year veteran Kyle Okposo, who bolstered the Panthers' lineup.

Kyle Okposo, the 17-year vet acquired ahead of the trade deadline, taking a moment to soak it all in.
The trades for these players included conditional picks that will now be upgraded due to the Panthers' victory.
Draft condition update:

The 2024 4th round pick #TimeToHunt  sent to #GoSensGo  in the Vladimir Tarasenko trade WILL upgrade to a 2026 3rd round pick.

The Oilers had a conditional pick from the Adam Henrique trade that will remain unchanged since they didn't win the Cup.

The newly crowned Okposo will receive a $500,000 bonus for winning the Stanley Cup, courtesy of the Buffalo Sabres.
With the offseason now officially underway, we can expect more trade activity in the coming weeks.
