Hockey fans mourn the loss of QMJHL goaltender Creed Jones

The hockey community was struck with some extremely sad news today, with the unfortunates announcement of the passing of Creed Jones, an immensely talented former QMJHL goalie.
His former team, the Gatineau Olympiques, confirmed the extremely disheartening news. Jones, known for his time playing with three different teams in the QMJHL, went on afterwards to share his talents with the University of Ottawa.
Creed Jones spent the majority of his junior career with the Gatineau Olympiques, appearing in 64 games over three seasons. The Olympiques announced his passing on their official X account, stating:
It is with great sadness that the Gatineau Olympic organization learned of the death of one of our alumni, Creed Jones. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones. 💔
One fan shared a photo of Jones during a match against the Quebec Remparts, saying:

Jones's career in the QMJHL also included appearances with the Rimouski Oceanic and the Saint John Sea Dogs. Over his career, he played in 24 games for Rimouski and five games for Saint John, achieving a record of 27-47-8 and recording two shutouts with Rimouski during the 2019-20 season.
Creed Jones passed away in a motorcycle accident.
Jones will be deeply missed by his family, friends, teammates, and fans. His legacy as a dedicated athlete and a beloved member of the hockey community will endure. Rest in peace, Creed Jones.
