Cutter Gauthier's wrong choice of words nearly gets him cancelled
Having barely played any games in the NHL, Anaheim Ducks forward Cutter Gauthier nearly got cancelled following comments he made in a video posted online.
Gauthier had so much potential when he was drafted 5th overall at the 2022 NHL draft, but unfortunately has not been able to live up to all the hype yet. The Philadelphia Flyers traded Gauthier to the Ducks earlier this year after not even playing a single shift for them.
Gauthier only played one game for the Ducks last season. The team came up with an idea for Gauthier to do a video where the fans would get to know him a little better. Unfortunately, it backfired, when Gauthier referred to himself as being "a chick" when he orders Starbucks.
"Oh, I'm a chick when it comes to that stuff. I'll go iced caramel macchiato."
That simple comment erupted the internet, with fans screaming in disbelief as to what they had just heard.

It doesn't appear that Gauthier meant to purposely upset everyone out there, but rather this was just an honest mistake by a young guy who has absolutely no PR experience. The Ducks will definitely put him through a little training following this fiasco.
