In breaking news, fan favourite Tuukka Rask will make his return to the NHL tonight as the Bruins EBUG in a one-night venture.
Rask Makes Return to NHL With Bruins Tonight as EBUG
The Bruins announced today that Tuukka Rask would be making his return to the NHL as their EBUG, as Jeremy Swayman is under the weather for the club. Rask retired from the NHL in 2022.
With Jeremy Swayman under the weather, Tuukka Rask is in his @NHLBruins EBUG era 😅
While it is highly unlikely that Rask will see any playing time, this could happen if Bruins starter Linus Ullmark goes down with an injury. Rask won the Vezina in 2013 and played just 4 games in his final season with the Bruins in 2021-22.
Bruins fans can enjoy seeing his face on the ice again, even if it is just for the morning skate ahead of tonight's matchup against the Sabres.
