In what many considered the biggest upset in recent playoff hockey memory, the Boston Bruins took an early exit from the Stanley Cup Playoffs thanks to a gutsy effort by the Florida Panthers. Bruins fans have been the laughing stock of the league ever since, and haven't really come back from the embarrassment of their loss. To make matters worse, now famous athletes are getting in on the fun, and roasting the Bruins on live television.
Charles Barkley is best known for his dominant NBA career, and subsequent career in the broadcast booth and as a television personality. His fiery takes and larger than live personality has made him a fan favorite, and he's a regular on TNT's NBA broadcasts. In his most recent appearance doing a Celtics game, Barkley decided to mix things up a bit and poke fun at the Bruins by mentioning their status in the playoffs.
Barkley's co-hosts seemed to think the joke was a bit corny, but Barkley certainly thought it was a funny remark, and so do we! Keep it up, Charles!
