While the Boston Bruins do not have the greatest reputation overall thanks to Brad Marchand, most of their players are not really known to play dirty. However, one of their star forwards crossed a line last night and he paid the price.

Pastrnak Ejected After Dangerous Hit From Behind On Lindgren

David Pastrnak was given a major penalty as well as a game misconduct for boarding after a hit on Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren.
David Pastrnak received a five minute major and a game misconduct for this hit on Ryan Lindgren.

Lindgren went to the Rangers' locker room after the hit.
After a short review, the call was upheld and Pastrnak was escorted off the ice. Lindgren also left the ice to go to the Rangers locker room. Luckily, he would return to the game.
Pastrnak has been targeting Lindgren all game. He gets a 5 min Major against Lindgren here. Full play plus replay. #NYR
These kinds of hits have no place in hockey. As such, Pastrnak seems to have received the proper punishment so far. However, we will have to wait on the NHL Department of Player Safety to make a decision on his case tomorrow before we truly know what the consequences will be for him. For Lindgren, he's used to this kind of thing happening.
