RUMOR: Patrice Bergeron To Come Out Of Retirement And Re-Join Bruins?
The Boston Bruins have once again been one of the best teams in the NHL this season. However, they still lock center depth after Patrice Bergeron and David Krejci both retired in the offseason. Now one of these players could potentially be on his way back.
New Rumors About Bergeron Coming Out Of Retirement Emerge
Former NHL enforcer and current TNT analyst Paul Bissonnette revealed today that he has heard rumors that Bergeron could be coming out of retirement to rejoin the Bruins this year. Given that Bissonnette is one of the most well-connected analysts in the league, these rumors could very well have some credibility to them.

Any word on Patrice Bergeron returning? I still think it's happening.
Bruins fans are certainly excited about the possibility that he could return this year.
In all seriousness — can we just at least acknowledge that every time Patrice Bergeron has appeared on TV he's looked as bit (if not more) fit as he did when he played?
Maybe it's just extra sleepOR, HES WORKING OUT AND SKATING EVERYDAY AND EATING SUPER GOOD!? #NHLBRUINS 😅
That being said, others have stated their opinions on the matter and not everyone thinks his return in likely. Some believe that the move would be seen as disrespectful and Bergeron is above such moves.
A source that knows Patrice Bergeron well to me on Bergeron potentially coming out of retirement:
"I don't think ‘Bergy' wants to be another Brett Favre. He's got too much class and respect for the game.»
We will just have to wait and see whether or not the Bruins legend decided to lace up the skates one last time.
