Boston Bruins confirm new announcer that will replace Jack Edwards
This afternoon a new report has come in confirming that the Boston Bruins and NESN have officially found the replacement for former announcer Jack Edwards.
Boston Bruins hockey and the voice of Jack Edwards have been synonymous for many years. The 2023-24 season was announced to be the last for Jack Edwards as the voice of the Bruins. He confirmed he would be retiring and has since called his last game.
Now after 19 years of Jack Edwards, it is time for NESN and the Bruins to set off in a new era. The announcement was made this afternoon confirming that Jack Edwards will be replaced by Judd Sirott.

NESN confirms Judd Sirott will replace Jack Edwards
This afternoon several sources have confirmed that play-by-play announcer Judd Sirott has landed the role with NESN to call Bruins games. The news was first broken on X by Kevin Dupont.
This will be a familiar name to Bruins fans as Judd Sirott has been the radio voice of the Boston Bruins since the 2017-18 season. He will now make the transition to television and do his best to fill the massive shoes and legacy of Jack Edwards. After the announcement was made Jack Edwards himself commented on the decision.
Before joining the Bruins organization as an announcer Judd Sirott began his career with the Chicago Blackhawks as the pre-game, intermission, and post-game host. Now he will continue his play by play career becoming the main voice of the Boston Bruins.
