Perry is coming off a 25 point season with the Lightning where he served mainly as a 4th liner who could be a powerplay net front.
It was just announced that the Blackhawks will be resigning Perry to a super expensive contract.
According to AFP Analytics, Perry was projected to get an $850,000 contract so it is clear the Blackhawks want him.
He will likely serve as a mentor to Connor Bedard next year and help him transition into the NHL steadily and make sure he is able to develop at a good rate.
