The Chicago Blackhawks thought they landed a generational talent at the No. 1 spot in the 2023 NHL Draft, and it's becoming clear now that they have done just that, but he's not quite got everything down yet.
During the team's game against the Florida Panthers, in which Bedard added another two goals, he was sent to the penalty box, but what ensued was a hilarious rookie mistake.
While Bedard may have started 2023-24 slow, he's been red-hot as of late, as he now has 9 goals and 4 assists in 13 games, putting him on track for a fantastic 82 points in his rookie campaign.
With little talent around him, what Bedard is doing is nothing short of incredible, and when the Blackhawks can surround him with more talent, this will be one of the best teams to watch in the NHL, but now, Bedard just has to figure out which penalty box to go too.
