The Chicago Blackhawks lost the game 5-1, but Connor Bedard was again the standout player for Chicago. Chicago will see lots of losses this season, so hopefully Bedard will be fine with all the losing and it will not hurt his confidence in the long-run.
Connor Bedard led the way with four shots on goal, tied with one other player. He had a hit and a block as well. He was dominated in the faceoff circle, going five for 13, or winning only 38% of his draws.
Going forward, it may be best to limit his shift length to stay fresh, but his total time on ice will always be around, or over, the 20-minute mark.
