The Owner of the Winnipeg Jets personally gave Connor Bedard an honest apology after an inappropriate question sparked controversy.

Bedard Given Apology By Jets Owner

Jets Owner Mark Chipman gave a personal apology to Chicago Blackhawks star Connor Bedard after a Winnipeg reporter asked an inappropriate question to the rookie.
Bedard was asked to comment by a members of the Winnipeg Jets media in regards to unsubstantiated rumors involving his family and teammate Corey Perry, who had his contract terminated by Chicago following what is described as a "workplace matter".
Bedard, clearly uncomfortable by the line of questioning, told media that the allegations were clearly untrue, and that it was a difficult issue for him.
Chipman made sure to personally apologize to the 2023 1st Round Pick for the comment, making sure to signify the Jets organization supported the rookie after the inappropriate question.
In a presser following Perry being placed on waivers for the purpose of termination, Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson told reporters that the allegations made regarding Bedard's family were "untrue" and "frankly disgusting", adding that no member of the Bedard family was involved in the matter of Perry's dismissal from the team.
Bedard, still keeping focused on Hockey, has been the expected star imagined of the generational prospect, leading Chicago with 11 Goals, 9 Assists & 20 Points in 23 Games for the club.
