Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson looking to make major trade?
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported today that the Chicago Blackhawks may be looking to trade up in the 2024 NHL draft.
Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson has been busy this offseason, trading up in the draft once already. He completed a deal with the New York Islanders, sending picks 20, 54, and 61 in exchange for picks 18 and 50.

The move immediately lead to speculation among fans. Many believe that Davidson and the Blackhawks may not be done yet as they look to accelerate the rebuild. The team will already be drafting 2nd overall after adding

That may be exactly what happens too. NHL insider Elliotte Friedman talked about this possibility on 32 thoughts this morning. He stated that he believes the trade between the Islanders and Blackhawks is a precursor to one of the teams moving up in the draft again.
