Sillinger's season is not All-star worthy but McRae's fame is
Compared to his 11 points in 64 games during the 2022–2023 season, Sillinger has only 17 points in 39 games, which is a far better improvement. Even if it is an improvement, the Columbus Blue Jackets will not be represented in the all-star game with just this improvement.
Being a Canadian, McRae is making her first appearance in the NHL All Star game, so the fact that it is being held in Canada is undoubtedly quite exciting for her. Given that Calgary, Alberta, is her hometown, it probably would have been better if the Flames were hosting.
