The news was broken by @HockeyyInsiderr on X, an anonymous user who has broken big news in the past. According to the user, the Buffalo Sabres have been identified as one of the two teams who have interest in submitting an offer sheet for Raymond.
Raymond, 22, truly broke out last season, playing in all 82 games and posting a very impressive 72 points, including 31 goals. Raymond is a key part of the Red Wings future, more so than Broberg or Holloway were in Edmonton, so it's possible that Detroit would match any number Buffalo would give Raymond as part of an offer sheet.
It seems that the Blues opened up the flood gates, and there are many RFA's still unsigned, so it's very possible the offer sheets we saw last week will not be the last ones before the new season begins in October.
