Connor McDavid chose to speak his mind during the media scrum last night, criticizing the officiating for a call that changed that game.

McDavid Calls Out Officials For Goal Overturned By Offsides

Last night, Connor McDavid let his emotions show after the game, deciding to call out the Officials for their decision to overturn Leon Draistail's goal due to an offsides review. McDavid didn't hold back in his critique of the call, saying that if it takes that much scrutiny maybe they should just leave it as a goal.
connor mcdavid with a firey answer on the draisaitl offside call: "if it takes you 15 minutes to determine if it's offside or not, it probably doesn't matter you zoom in, you keep zooming in until you can't zoom in any more, i guess it's offside.»
McDavid didn't stop there, either. He noted how important these calls can be on the game, as this one would have been a big goal for the Oilers.
more from mcdavid on the call: «these are calls that change games, and ultimately, it didn't go our way. that was a big call. it would've really hurt them.

McDavid Dominates Despite Critique of Officials

Ultimately, the call didn't end up making a difference in the game, as the Oilers were able to take the game 2-1 against the Blackhawks. You wouldn't be able to tell from the interview, but McDavid had another dominant game, scoring a goal and buzzing around the ice the entire game.
McDavid in alone is unfair! 🤩
It would have been a crazy media scrum after the game should the Oilers have lost!
