"It's just not going to happen," Carey Price says about his knee healing well enough for him to play hockey again #Habs #HabsIO
"When I do certain things on a consistent basis, it's a very solid reminder that my knee is not in a position to take the brunt of a full season's workload."
It really looks like he isn't a part of the Habs' plans. The goalie addressed the trade rumors he's involved in.
Price Opens Up About the Trade Rumors
Price's playing days may be over, but if he can still help the Habs one last time, he'll do it.
#Habs Carey Price on if he'd be open to his contract being traded away: "Everyone knows hockey is a business; money management & cap space are part of that. I'm going to be a MTL Canadien for the rest of my life & I'm very proud of that, so I'm willing to help this team in any aspect."
Being traded won't change anything for him, except the name that signs his paycheck.
Kent Hughes managed to trade Shea Weber's contract when the former captain was in the same situation as Price.
