During the offseason, hockey players often look to escape the pressures of the game by engaging in leisure activities like golf. However, a recent golf outing has left two stars of the Montreal Canadiens in hot water.

A Golf Day for Canadiens' Star Duo

Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield chose to spend some of their offseason downtime at the exclusive Memphrémagog Golf Club over the weekend.

The club is renowned for its strict rules, and according to reports, the pair ran afoul of a couple of these during their visit.

Rule Breaches by Caufield and Suzuki

Max Truman reported that the two were golfing with friends and opted to capture the moment by posting photos on their Instagram stories.

Regrettably, this decision led them to violate two of the club's guidelines. Firstly, taking photographs on the course is strictly forbidden. Secondly, the use of cell phones while playing is also not allowed. As a result, the two players have fallen out of favor with the club and its 200-member community.
The 2 photos shared on Instagram by Cole and Nick are among the very rare images taken and published at the Memphrémagog Golf Club in the last 20 years!

Believe me, it did not please many people so much so that the stories disappeared quite quickly.
The club and its membership place a high value on exclusivity. While public discussion of the incident may end here, it remains to be seen if the pair will face further repercussions from the club or its members.
