Blue Jackets Get Severson
Damon Severson has been a key player for the New Jersey Devils over the past years. But now, with a chance to become a free agent and earn more money, he's been traded.
The Devils will give Severson a new eight-year contract worth $50 million, with an average yearly pay of $6.25 million, in a complex sign-and-trade agreement. After that, they'll trade him to the Blue Jackets.
