The New York Islanders have struggled in a big way over the past few years, and now, they've got a former General Manager firing plenty of shots their way.
According to former GM Garth Snow, the Islanders would routinely shut down ideas that he pitched and recommended, only to hire Lou Lamarello to do exactly those things.
His recent interview has been making headlines, as it appears Snow has a bone to pick with the entire organization, and if this accusation is true, it's not tough to see why.
Since Lamarello joined the organization back in 2018, the team have reached two Eastern Conference Finals, but with two summers since officially being named General Manager, the team hasn't done much at all.
It's tough to see who's in the right in this situation, but right now, it seems as though Snow is being quite petty about his departure from the team. Regardless, it's brought him plenty of attention and headlines, and that's likely what it was all about.
