The St. Louis Blues have had a turbulent season. Despite their frustrating moments and the firing of head coach Craig Berube the Blues find themselves just 2 points out of the playoffs. Today a strange report has indicated that despite this a star forward could be traded soon.

Reporter Suggests That A Blues Star Forward Could Be Traded

During a radio appearance today St. Louis Blues reporter Jeremy Rutherford spoke about the upcoming trade deadline. Rutherford speculated that one player who could be traded either at the deadline or during the summer is forward Jordan Kyrou.
Wow @jprutherford said on the radio this morning that he thinks there's a 50/60% chance Jordan Kyrou is traded before his NTC kicks in at July 1st 2025. WHAT? #stlblues
This is the first time that Kyrou has been mentioned in trade rumors this season. Actions taken by Kyrou earlier in the season make a potential trade make more sense.

Will Kyrou's Comments On Former Coach Lead To A Trade?

Earlier this season the Blues fired head coach Craig Berube. After his firing star forward Jordan Kyrou was asked how he felt about the move. Kyrou answered honestly but also rubbed some fans the wrong way.
Kyrou on relationship with Berube: "I've got no comment. He's not my coach anymore." #stlblues
After an apology from Kyrou things were eventually smoothed over. However, the damage might have already been done within the organization. While most of the consideration for moving Kyrou seems to be due to contract one has to wonder if this incident factors in at all as well.
As more updates are provided on Jordan Kyrou's future in St. Louis we will provide them to you.
