The one thing that San Jose have lacked this season is enjoyable young prospects who bring hope to the organization, but now, it appears they've found at least one player that can fit that description.
As @KevinWeekes first reported, Calen Addison is indeed being traded to the #sjsharks. #mnwild will receive a fifth-round pick in 2026, I'm told.

The 23-year old has been with the Wild organization for the past three years, skating in 92 games at the NHL level, but it was his 2022-23 campaign that was a genuine breakout, tallying 3 goals and 29 points in 62 games.
Sure, he may not replace what they lost when they traded Erik Karlsson to Pittsburgh, but for this price, it's a no-brainer for the Sharks who are looking to give their fans plenty of hope going forward.
