Breaking: Leafs Lose Major Sponsorship Deal

Today marks the beginning of a new season of hockey for the Toronto Maple Leafs. It also marks the end of an ad deal the team had with TikTok.

Leafs Ditch TikTok Helmet ads

After two years of working together, the Leafs announced today that they will no longer be displaying TikTok ads on their helmets. Until a new sponsorship deal can be agreed upon, Leafs helmets will have the Maple Leaf logo on them.
The team did hint that they are still interested in working with TikTok though so perhaps a new deal can be agreed upon in the coming months.

As one of the NHL's largest and most recognizable markets, the Leafs are likely to have a wide range of potential sponsors to choose from so they should not be missing out on that helmet ad revenue for long.
The Leafs kick of their season tonight against the Montreal Canadiens in Toronto at 7:00PM EST
