The two combined several times throughout the night, as they created multiple scoring opportunities, and if this is what Toronto can expect out of their third line pairing, this will be a deep and dangerous team.
Ultimately, this is going to be a work in progress, both the new pairing and the move for Nylander, but if the team are patient with it, it looks like both moves have high potential, so it's safe to say Leafs fans should be excited after what we saw in game one of the pre-season.
