Earlier today, the Toronto Maple Leafs geared up with a morning skate before their matchup against the Boston Bruins.
In their previous encounter, Brad Marchand's dirty play on Timothy Liljegren set the stage for what is expected to be a heated and spirited game tonight, with the Leafs eager to settle scores for their injured teammate.
In light of this, Sheldon Keefe has sent a message to the Bruins.
Ryan Reaves, after sitting out the last game against the Seattle Kraken, was back on the ice, practicing on the fourth line with Noah Gregor and David Kampf.
Reaves was criticized for not retaliating when Liljegren was hurt, will surely look to add some intensity to this already promising divisional matchup.
Let's hope that their focus, however, remains on victory, not retaliation. Securing two points tonight would be the most fitting was to honor Liljegren.
