Canucks Escape Disaster After Incident
The Vancouver Canucks flew home from Columbus last night after a trip out East. When they arrived home the team was dropped off at their gate. The plane then was being towed from the terminal where the Canucks were dropped off and the Air Canada hangar when a crisis broke out.
The plane and the machine being used to tow the Plane ended up veering off course and into a patch of grass. The plane and the towing equipment were now stuck in the patch of grass along the runway and in need of rescue.

This led the Vancouver International Airport to close its runway while crews were tasked with getting the plane out of the rut it was stuck in. The plane was eventually pulled out and guided to the hangar where it was meant to be.
There were no injuries to airport staff or members of the Canucks organization due to this incident. Luckily for the Canucks they will stay in Vancouver for a while as their next game is one at home against the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday.
