The NHL is a league in constant change, with players entering and leaving the league regularly. A former first round draft pick is now thinking about coming back after a year off.

Once a Promising Draft Pick

Tyler Ennis was a first round pick in the 2008 NHL Draft and spent the following eight years with the Buffalo Sabres. After that, he played for several other teams. A source close to the Edmonton Oilers suggests that Ennis is mulling over the idea of coming back to the league.

It's likely that if he returns, it would be on a Professional Tryout contract.

What Could Ennis Bring to the Table?

Throughout his career, Ennis has played in 700 games, accumulating 346 points and scoring 144 goals.
As of now, it's unclear whether the circulating rumors will materialize into genuine interest. However, if Ennis is indeed considering a comeback, his veteran presence could be a valuable asset in the locker room.
