Tragic Passing of 17-Year-Old Athlete During Training Session Due to Cardiac Arrest

In a deeply saddening development from Russia, Venedikt Osipov, a 17-year-old hockey player, tragically lost his life due to cardiac arrest during a practice.
Sport-Express reporting that HC Bobrov forward, 17-year-old Venedikt Osipov, died during training today due to cardiac arrest. 🙏

The team plays in the Natsionalnaya Molodyozhnaya Hokkeinaya Liga (NMHL).

The guys just got on the ice, a hockey player born in 2006 shot at the goal, stood in line and fell. Local forces began to provide assistance, an ambulance arrived in 4 minutes, they began artificial ventilation, but they could not save him.

The whole team underwent a medical examination, everything was fine,» the team said.
Despite the swift response of the medical team, arriving within four minutes and employing all possible life-saving measures, Venedikt Osipov could not be revived after he collapsed on the ice.

Police to Investigate Osipov's Death

Recent reports indicate that police are now investigating the circumstances surrounding Osipov's death. The investigation is criminal in nature, focusing on potential negligence.
This is an ongoing investigation, and no definitive conclusions have been reached at this stage.
UPDATE
A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (causing death by negligence) regarding Osipov's death.
