Kyle Clifford wants a piece of everyone on the Utica Comets after he drops the gloves with Samuel Laberge.
In the video, Clifford can be seen throwing a few extra punches after he was taken to the ice by Laberge. This caused some of the other Comets players on the ice to take note, leading Clifford to challenge them as he skated to the box and subsequently off the ice.
Fighting's Uncertainty in Hockey
There are some questions about whether or not fighting has a place in hockey. Some argue that players use it as a self-policing method, while others say there is no place for violence like this in the sport.
Incidents like this make it much harder for those who want to see fighting remain in the game to make a case. Clearly, Clifford took things a bit too far, throwing punches after the fight and continuing his rampage after being separated.
