Hot Mic Captures Referee Using Colorful Language with Player

We often see funny scenes between officials and players in the NHL, and we can now add this one to the list!

In the game between the Sabres and the Devils, Connor Clifton was ejected after a hit to Nico Hischier's head.

In the scrum that followed the hit, a referee warned a player in the best way possible.

The ref in question is Chris Rooney, one of the NHL's most "colorful" officials. He's known to get into it with players.
