Aaron Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP spent the last 18-years of his career with the Green Bay Packers, but this off-season he was traded, and with a new environment comes plenty of challenges.
So when he was being traded, he went to a veteran NHLer for advice on how to handle leaving a team after so long, with that veteran being former San Jose Sharks star Joe Pavelski.
After 13 years in San Jose, Pavelski joined the Dallas Stars in free agency back in 2019, and while it's unclear what advice he gave Rodgers, there's no better player out there to understand his situation.
In those 13 seasons with the Sharks, Pavelski played in 963 games, tallying an impressive 761 points, but since joining the Stars, he's passed many milestones, playing his 1000th game (now at 1250) and passing 1000 career points (now at 1001).
Pavelski has gone on to substantial regular season success since joining the Stars, something Rodgers will hope to do in New York, so it was a very savvy move for A-Rod to come to the NHL veteran.
