A Look Back At The Jack Eichel Trade And Its Effects

The Jack Eichel trade was a blockbuster that led him to end up in Vegas. Here are the details as a refresher.
The Sabres received forwards Peyton Krebs, and Alex Tuch, a top 10 protected first-round pick in the 2022 NHL Draft, and a second-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. As a result of this, the Sabres ended up with a top-line forward in Alex Tuch, a young playmaker in Peyton Krebs, and then a 2022 First Round Pick that turned into Noah Ostlund. The second-round pick was used to trade for Jordan Greenway.
The Golden Knights got Jack Eichel they also received a third-round pick in the 2023 draft. Of course, as a result of this Eichel became the first-line center for the Golden Knights. On their recent Stanley Cup run Eichel was one of their best forwards.
