Evgeny Kuznetsov has been a staple for Washington Capitals fans since he was drafted there in 2010. After several successful high scoring seasons for the Caps, it appears his time in the Capital might be coming to a close.
According to NHL insider Pierre LeBrun, the Capitals and Kuznetsov could be working out a trade come the offseason.

The Capitals aren't currently having a season to brag about, and Kuznetsov isn't either. He has 5 goals and 6 assists for 11 points through 28 games. The Capitals are sitting squarely in the middle of the division.
