Stars trade former 13th overall pick Ty Dellandrea to Sharks
The Dallas Stars have traded forward Ty Dellandrea to the San Jose Sharks in exchange for the Winnipeg Jets fourth-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft. It's a pick the Sharks had previously acquired in the Vladislav Namestnikov trade.

Dellandrea, 23, had two goals and nine points in 42 games during the regular season. Then in the playoffs, he had one goal in six Stanley Cup Playoff games this year.

He will give the rebuilding Sharks youth and size. It's a good grab for GM Mike Grier. As for GM and Jim Gregory award winner Jim Nill and the Stars, they get something for a guy who was deep on the depth chart.
