While the NHL world has been focused on the incident involving Toronto's Morgan Rielly, Boston's Linus Ullmark has found himself in some trouble too after a recent act.

Linus Ullmark fined for high-stick on Tampa Bay's Michael Eyssimont

During the divisional clash with the Tampa Bay Lightning, Michael Eyssimont drove to the net, creating plenty of contact with Ullmark, but then the Vezina winning goaltender reacted.
You can't blame Ullmark for reacting to what he perceived was unnecessary contact, but now the NHL has come down hard on him, handing him a $5,000 fine, the maximum allowable under the CBA.
Boston's Linus Ullmark has been fined $5,000, the maximum allowable under the CBA, for high-sticking Tampa Bay's Michael Eyssimont.
The actions of Ullmark didn't likely warrant a look at a suspension, but given the way the NHL has attempted to get this out of the game, it comes as no surprise that he has faced this punishment, whether it resulted in an injury or not.
