The Toronto Maple Leafs have an abundance of free agents as they are shaping themselves into one of the most important summers as an organization after another early playoff exit.

Tyler Bertuzzi has wished his desires to stay in the Blue and White, however the price won't come cheap after a new update has been leaked regarding his contract wants between him and his agent.
The Leafs have some key players they need to re-sign in the offseason but they may not be able to keep everyone.

If they have to choose, would you prefer to keep Max Domi or Tyler Bertuzzi? 🤔

According to a close source, Tyler Bertuzzi and his camp are willing to stay in Toronto but the term has to be long-term. They are seeking at least four years, but the possibility of a max extension could be in the cards.
Here is an example of a cheap affordable contract per year for the hometown boy.
1 Year: $3.15M
2 Years: $4.03M
3 Years: $4.93M
5 Years: $5.95M
6 Years: $5.98M
7 Years: $5.8M
8 Years: $6.5M
A one year deal would be the cheapest, but pending a breakout season the Leafs would be in a tough spot. The most ideal one looks to be five years, where he makes a steady 6M dollars per year and with the cap rising it has the potential to look like a bargain.
Exciting off-season ahead in Leafs Land.
